Shift-OAE

Screening of Meniere’s disease

This measure, based on acoustic distortion products, records the response time of outer hair cells of the cochlea. Our exclusive clinical studies have shown that the measured parameters represent the pressure in the perilymph (apex). Monitoring of Shift-OAE can detect reproductible or isolated presure changes in the cochlea and thus highlight a cochlear hydrops.

ABR

Performing ABR in ambulatory mode

Thanks to this video tutorial discover how to carry out ABR measurements with your Echodia device equipped with the corresponding module. The two modes accessible on the device are presented in this video:
– the clinical mode allowing a complete analysis
– screening mode for a rapid test
The two ABR measurement modes are available on the ELIOS device (complete device for functional exploration).
The BABYSCREEN device with the ABR option contains the screening mode only.

E-ABR

Performing  e-ABR

Thanks to it’s collaboration with Advanced Bionics, Cochlear, MED-EL and Neurelec, Echodia has developed a technology enabling the monitoring of eABR.
The eABR is a measurement of the ABR using an electrical stimulus coming from the implant. It enables to establish if the cochlear implant is working, in other words, that the auditory nerve responds correctly to the electrical stimulation.
An electrical stimulus is sent into the patient’s implant while the ELIOS device is collecting the electrical activity using electrodes. The response is avaible in real time on the Echosoft software.
We developed a specific tool to measure eABR for implants of each brands.
